If you use Milestone Professional, you can export your plan from Project KickStart to Milestones Professional in a click of a button.

To export to Milestone Professional:

• In the Schedule step, click the Export to list arrow below the Gantt chart, click Milestones Professional, and then click the Go button. You can also click File on the menu bar, point to Export to, and then click Milestones Professional.

Your tasks, assignments, start and finish dates, and notes (excluding attachments) appear in a Milestones file.

Tips

• After you export your tasks to Milestones Professional, you can create taskbars, add titles, and perform other tasks to produce a presentation-quality schedule. You can also use Milestones to track your tasks by showing task durations and percent completions. Make scheduling changes by dragging the task dates.
• If you have an earlier version of Milestones (e.g, version 4.5 or 5), you can save Project KickStart data as an .mpx file, and then open the mpx file in Milestones.
