If you use WBS Chart Pro, you can export your plan from Project KickStart to WBS Chart Pro  in a click of a button.

To export to WBS Chart Pro:

• In the Schedule step, click the Export to list arrow below the Gantt chart, click WBS Chart Pro, and then click the Go button. You can also click File on the menu bar, point to Export to, and then click WBS Chart Pro.

Your project is displayed under the project name. Each phase in the project is shown in a box with a shadow. Each lower level task in a phase is displayed under their respective phase box grouped together with the other tasks in that phase.

Benefits of using Project KickStart and WBS Chart

• Visualize tasks:  Work with tasks in a "tree-style" chart called a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) chart.
• Communicate your project plan with others:  WBS Chart uses the outline you create in Project KickStart to create a top-down picture of your plan. This picture is similar to an Organization chart. But instead of displaying the structure of your company, a WBS chart displays the structure of your project plan.

Notes

• WBS Chart refers to the phases in the project as "Summary Tasks" and the detail for each phase as "Tasks."
• The export only works if WBS Chart is not currently running. You must close WBS Chart before you can create another chart.
