Support for earlier versions
If you are using an earlier version of Project KickStart, you may submit your question to: Send Email to Support We will respond within one - two business days. Please include:
- Describe the problem, including any error message.
- What did you do immediately before encountering the bug?
- Project KickStart Version Number and Build Date. (In Help About Project KickStart)
- Windows version.
If you have not received a response within one business day, please double check that you don't have any spam filters installed which are blocking our messages to you. Please allow all messages from projectkickstart.com.
Registered owners of Versions 1 - 4 may order
an upgrade to Version 5.
Downloads for Project KickStart 4
- Download Project KickStart 4 Software (for existing customers). Lets Project KickStart 4 users download and install a Version 4 trial.
Downloads for Project KickStart 3
- PKS Library Locker. Lets Administrator lock libraries in Project KickStart 3.2 so that users will use the same terms from the library. Useful for some network and site license users.
- pkslib.dat is the Project KickStart 3 libraries file, containing the Phases, Tasks, Goals, People and Obstacles libraries. You can copy it to the Project KickStart 3 folder if you want to restore the default libraries.
Manually Uninstalling Project KickStart 3
If Windows Uninstall does not remove
Project KickStart 3, you may:
Click Start / Run and type: regedit.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
Delete Project KickStart key {961748AC-4B3E-46FC-88F7-1C664A586A3F}
Delete Project KickStart 3 folder from Program Files folder
Delete Project KickStart 3 short cut from the Start menu
PS. Before deleting Project KickStart 3 folder, save any prj project files
you need and save the lic file if you have an unlocking trial version and want
to use the application on another machine.
